Coverage – “Two Minutes Standstill” Art Performance

Today i had the honour to photograph part of a very interesting and unique art project and collective performance by Yael Bartana a renowned artist from israel, currently focussing on video art.

It is called “Zwei Minuten Stillstand” (English:  “Two Minutes Standstill”) and “calls upon all people to reflect on the present, our effected history and our common future.” (from the official page)

The project took place all over Cologne and i was asked to take the photos for a class of the Theaterakademie Cologne in warm summer rain which performed at the Chlodwigplatz (-;

Like sculptures the performers stood still for (more than) two minutes and for me it was a new and unique experience to take photos of such a project.
